| When the hell did everyone decide to join this site, and why is it so addictive? AFter being inundated with requests from people to join, I finally added myself, and joined in with the dozen or so people that were trying to add me as a friend. Very quickly all sorts of folk started to add me as a friend, and send me messages and "write on my wall" and shit. It's like everyone is on here. Within 4 days I had been befriended by all my ex's (except one, but I bet she's on there somewhere) as well as old co/workers, old employers, and much of my highschool class. Even a couple of people I don't think I know are messaging me and asking me how I've been. Low and behold my wife had been on the site for a while. I had no idea. I must say I am reluctantly getting swept up in it. I do enjoy setting my status to refect the lunacy of my life, and broadcast it to everyone as if they cared. How often are we all going to change this stuff to? wasn't everyone doing this last year on MySpace? I'm going to be pissed if every 18 months I'm going to have to create a new account at the most recent social networking flavour of the moment to try and keep in touch with my friends. sigh I predict we will all tire of this in a year.
